What is a keyword?
Keyword is the term we use to describe any kind of search string that users perform no matter if
it is in the form of a single search word, a phrase or a complex multi word search.
We call all of them: a keyword.

Why should I do keyword research?
If you are engaged in any kind of online marketing you are most likely already using some keyword targeted marketing. That could be in the form of keyword-targeted banners, sponsor links in search engines, bidding in PPC-engines or search engine optimization.
In any case you will need to know what exactly people search for. Not just what words they are using, but maybe even more important, what phrases the keywords are used in and how often each phrase is searched for.
With more targeted vistors to your site more of them will convert into business. If you are selling used cars a user that search for "used cars" is much more likely to buy one then a user that just search for "car" - half of them is probably looking for a new car, not a used one.
If your are targeting regional users - e.g. European or Asian people - you need to have access to local data bases - data bases with keywords and keyword counts collected from local users. And that is exactly what KeywordMaker.com gives you - Scandinavian keyword data.

Where do you get the keywords from?
The keywords in our databases are real searches performed by real people. People in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
Unfortunately, confidentiality keeps us from publicly announcing where the data comes from. We can, however, assure you that the demographic of the users behind the searches are very close to the average demographic of the Internet and that the ongoing testing and validation we perform on the data keeps the quality high.

Why is KeywordMaker.com so expensive?
Well, actually we don't think it is. Getting access to this kind of data can save you a lot of working hours and let you find highly targeted keyword phrases that you may not have come up with using other techniques or services.
If you compare the price we charge for KeywordMaker.com with the costs of having a professional Search Engine Optimizer do the work for you, you will save money from the very first time you use KeywordMaker.com.
Also, if you compare the price per keyword we charge with the price our "competitors" charge on the English language market we are actually cheaper.
